    • Mrs. Agnes Clark

      PRESTON\emdash One of Preston's oldest citizens, Agnes Mathieson, widow of James Clark, died at the home of her son, Emerson Clark, 624 Hamilton St., early today. She was 89 and bad been ill only a week prior to her death. Mrs. Clark, who spent the greater part of her life in Galt and Preston, was well-known in the district. A native of Aberdeen, Ontario, she had resided in Preston for 25 years, coming here from Galt. A member of Knox Presbyterian Church, she was also a member of the Ladies Aid of the church. Her husband predeceased her nine years ago. Surviving is a son, Emerson Clark, of Preston: a granddaughter, Agnes, of Preston, and two sisters, Mrs. J. Fisher of Galt and Mrs. J. Self of Ashern, Man. The body is at the Stager-Pass Funeral Home where the funeral will be held Wednesday at 2 o'clock with interment in the Preston cemetery.
