- Anna Marie Zoellner - A teacher of piano for over 66 years, Miss Anna Marie Zoellner, aged 88 years, died at her home 34 Duke street, Waterloo, May 3rd, after a short illness. She was born in Germany and came to Canada about 76 years ago. With the exception of some years during which she taught at the Boston Conservatory, she taught and lived 40 years in Waterloo. She has instructed thousands of pupils and at one time had a Waterloo class of 82. Miss Zoellner was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. H. A. Zoellner and a sister of the late Prof. Theodore Zoellner, Kitchener. Her father conducted an apothecary drug store King St., in Waterloo. One nephew, H. O. Zoellner, resides in Toledo, and a niece, Mrs. C. W. Baker in St. Catharines. The Funeral was held Saturday afternoon from the Letter and Dreisinger Funeral Home to Mount Hope Cemetery, Kitchener. Rev. C. S. Roberts, pastor of St. John's Lutheran church, Waterloo, conducted the services.
