  Eva Bear, "born May 16th, 1886." Eby, Ezra E. (1895). A biographical history of Waterloo township and other townships of the county: being a history of the early settlers and their descendants, mostly all of Pennsylvania Dutch origin: as also much other unpublished historical information chiefly of a local character. Berlin [Kitchener, Ont.]: [s.n.]. __________________ Francis.- Eva, daughter of Henry and Leah (Bowman) Baer, was born in Mannheim, Ont., May 15, 1886; died at K-W Hospital, Kitchener, Ont., Aug. 23, 1984; aged 98 y. She was married to John Francis, who survives. Also surviving are 2 daughters (Violet-Mrs. Cecil Cressman and Grace-Mrs. Carl Cressman), 7 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-granddaughter. She was preceded in death by one son (John) and one grandson. She was a member of First Mennonite Church, where funeral services were held on Aug. 25, in charge of Brice Balmer; interment in First Mennonite Cemetery.
