      Miss Audrey Buchanan Becomes Bride of Charles Heibein


      A lovely October wedding was solemnized at Forest Hill Gardens, last night, when Miss Audrey Buchanan daughter of Mr. and Mr. Herbert Buchanan, became the bride of Mr. Howard Heibein, son of Mr. Charles of Waterloo and the late Mrs. Heibein.

      The ceremony was performed in the living room at Forest Hill before an altar of palms and chrysanthemums with white taper candles used for lighting. Rev. Leslie S. Moll, pastor of the United church Bervie, officiated.

      The bride who was given in marriage by her father, took her place before the altar to the strains of wedding music played by Miss Ardilla Forester of Gormley, who played the processional music at the wedding of the bride's parent. Mr and Mrs. Buchanan.

      The bride. looked lovely in a gown of white brocaded crepe of fitted design arid completed with a short train. Her bridal veil was of silk net bordered with deep lace and she carried a bouquet of orchids encircled with Iilles of the valley and white roses.

      She was attended by Miss Enid French of Toronto as bridesmaid gowned In violet colored lace over pink taffeta fashioned on Princess lines with a short Jacket. She wore for headdress of wreath of pink baby chrysanthemums and carried a bouquet of pink pom poms.

      Mr. Ford Buchanan, the bride's brother. was the best man.

      After the ceremony the wedding guests offered best wishes to the young people who were assisted in receiving by the bride. parents, Mr. and Mrs. Buchanan, the latter wearing a long gown of amethyst colored crepe embroidered with small silver beads. a small felt hat to match and corsage of pink roses and small mauve chrysanthemums and by the bridegroom's sister, Mrs. Harry Lenhard, gowned in brown velvet with matching accessories and corsage of cream roses.

      After the reception wedding dinner was served from a table graced with bouquets of yellow chrysanthemums and lighted with white tapers.

      Mr. and Mrs. Heibein left immediately afterwards to spend their honeymoon In Quebec„Que, the bride travelling In a green woollen frock with brown accessories a brown lamb coat and corsage of orchids and flies of the valley. Upon their return they will take up, residence In Kitchener.

      HOWARD HEIBEIN

      At K-W Hospital, on Thursday, March 26, 1992, Howard Heibein, age 82 years, of 65 Westmount Rd. N., Waterloo.

      Mr. Heibein was a member of Olivet United Church and retired as treasurer of Economical Insurance Company after 47 years.

      Beloved husband of Audrey Heibein (nee Buchanan); dear father of Hugh and his wife Colleen of Conestogo, John and his wife Frieda of Waterloo, Anne Olsen and her husband David of Kitchener. Lovingly remembered by his 10 grandchildren, Heather Heibein, Emily Kayler-Heibein, Daniel, James, Susan, Julie, Jonathan, Katie, Kari and Wesley Olsen. Brother of Gertrude (Mrs. Gordon Lichty) of St. Jacobs.

      Predeceased by his parents, Charles and Annie Heibein; two brothers, Edgar and Garfield and two sisters, Mrs. Edna Lenhard and Mrs. Elvina Koch. A private family service will be held on Friday.

      A public memorial service will be held in the Ratz-Bechtel Chapel, 621 King St. W., Kitchener, on Saturday, April 4, 1992, at 11 a.m., Rev. Brock Saunders officiating. Reception to follow in the Ratz-Bechtel Family Centre.
