    • Schiedel, -- Salome, daughter of Enoch G. and the late Annie (Gremm) Horst, was born Aug. 20, 1899, in Waterloo Twp., Ont.; died Dec. 18, 1950, at her home near Preston, Ont. On Oct. 29, 1919, she was united in marriage to Allen Schiedel. She is survived by her husband, 4 sons and 1 daughter (Vernice, Galt, Ont.; Irvine, Kosssneth, Ont.; George, Edward, and Helen, at home), her father, 1 grandchild, 2 brothers (Stanley, Fort Erle, Ont.; Lorne, Kitchener, Ont.), and 3 sisters (Mrs. Lloyd Shantz, Hespeler, Ont.; Mrs. Ivan Shantz, Preston, Ont.; and Mrs. John Stuebing, Kitchener). The funeral was held Dec. 21 at the Wanner Mennonite Church with Merle Shantz in charge, assisted by Oscar Burkholder and J. W. Witmer. Interment was made in the adjoining cemetery.
