    • MRS. MAGDALENA S. FRIES - Less than two months after the death of her husband, Daniel Fries, who died on Feb. 10 last, Mrs. Magdalena Stuebing Fries, 32 Lancaster street east, passed away at 10 o'clock this morning at K-W Hospital. Mrs. Fries, who would have observed her 80th birthday on May 5 next, had been ailing for some years. She was born in Erbsville. Four sons, Henry Fries of Saskatchewan, Herbert Fries, city, John Noe, Wisconsin, Fred Noe, Toronto, and one daughter, Mrs. Louis Rau, Hamilton, survive with three stepsons, Edward Fries, Jacob Fries and Joseph Fries, all of Kitchener, and one stepdaughter, Mrs. Wm. Plate, Hespeler. Two brothers, Conrad Stuebing, Hamilton, Henry Stuebing, city, two sisters, Mrs. Fred Kurber and Mrs. Frank Lawrence, both of Waterloo, also survive with eight grandchildren. Remains will be at the Schreiter Funeral Home, Benton street, and funeral services will be held at St. Matthew's Lutheran Church Saturday afternoon at 2: 30 o'clock. Rev. J. Schmieder will officiate and interment will take place in St. Peter's Lutheran Cemetery.
