  Mrs. Catherine Bowman Mrs. Catherine Bowman, 86, of R.R. 3, Kitchener, died at the K-W Hospital, early today following a lengthy illness. Born in Waterloo Township, she was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Baer. She was a lifelong member of the Bethany United Missionary Church. Surviving are four sons, Harvey and Leslie, both of Kitchener, Myron of Arthur and Vernon of Toronto; one daughter, Mrs. T. H. Cochrane of Kitchener; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Ann Geiger of Kitchener and Mrs. Elizabeth Coons of Preston: nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Her husband, Dilman Bowman predeceased her in 1942 and one son, Beniah, predeceased her in 1940. The body is resting at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, until Saturday noon, when removal will be made to the Bethany United Missionary Church. Funeral will be held at the church, Saturday, at 2 p.m. Burial will be at Hagey Cemetery, Preston, with Rev. Arthur Walsh officiating. Kitchener-Waterloo Record 12 Jan 1950 pg 5
