  Henry Kaiser PRESTON, Aug. 17 - A well known and popular resident of Preston, Henry Kaiser died at his home on Margaret St., Tuesday, at the age of 87 years. Mr. Kaiser had been ill for about a week. Born near Strasburg, he had farmed in the Doan district for 18 years and came to Preston in 1921. He was employed by the Preston Parks Board for a number of years, but had lived retired for the past 20 years. Mr. Kaiser was a great friend of the children who reside in the Margaret St. district. He was an ardent fisherman. He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. M. (Hazel) Cooley of Preston and Mrs. L. 0. (Erna) Ott of San Gabriel, Calif., one son, William, of Preston; four grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife, the former Agusta Klaehn, 24 years ago. The funeral was held at the Stager Pass Funeral Home today with interment in the Preston cemetery. Rev. R. W. O'Brien of Guelph officiated. Kitchener-Waterloo Record 17 Aug 1950 pg 5
