- Mrs. John Hoffman Passes is at Kitchener
Mrs. John Hoffman passed at the Kitchener-Waterloo Hospital last Saturday, following a brief illness in her eighty-ninth year.
Deceased was a daughter Lovina, of the late Mr. and Mrs. Anthony Wagner of Wellesley,, Ont. and following her marriage to Mr. John Hoffman, spent many years of her life in Hanover, prior to moving to Kitchener, where her husband predeceased her in 1936.
Surviving are two sons Nelson. of Waterloo and Walter of Hanover and two daughters, Mrs. Ida Urstadt and Miss Melvina, both of Kitchener, also a brother, Nelson, of Hanover; and three sisters. Mrs. Susannah Nahrgang, Vancouver Mrs. Lucinda Grasser of Southampton and Mrs. Minnie Moyer St. Catharines Thirteen grand children and five great-grandchildren also survive.
The funeral was held on Tuesday, with service at Kitchener, after Which the remains were brought to Hanover for interment. Rev. E. E. Hallman, pastor of Zion Evangelical Church. Kitchener, conducted the services.
