  Mrs. Milton H. Schmitt A lifelong resident of Bridgeport, Mrs Milton. H. Schmitt. 68. of 479 Lancaster St. Bridgeport. died at her home early Monday after a lengthy illness. Born in Bridgeport Jan 20, 1890. she was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Olto Gastmeier. She was a member of Zion Evangelical United Brethren Church and before her illness was active in the Canadian Red Cross Society and the Ladies Aid. Surviving are her husband whom she married in Kitchener. Sept. 11. 1913: two sons, Donald of Noranda. Que. and Murray. H. Kitchener, and six-grandchildren One daughter. Doris, and two brothers. Orson and Dallas. Gastmeier. predeceased her. The body will rest at the Ratz Bechtel Funeral Home after 24 p.m. Tuesday The funeral will be conducted at the funeral home Thursday at 2 pm. Rev G. F. Barthel will officiate Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery.
