  Mrs. Barbara Schill There passed away at her residence on Water Street last Saturday, Barbara Trichler, relict of the late Lawrence Schill. She was born in Baden, Germany, on November 4th 1830, and was married to the late Lawrence Schill, shortly after which they came to Canada. They lived on two different farms in Woolwich and about 22 years ago, when the deceased came to Elmira to live, her husband having died about two years before. To Mr. and Mrs. Schill were born eight children, of whom one died in youth. The surviving ones are: Katie (Mrs. Geo. Fischer) of Elora; Barbara, at home; Mary, Mrs. J. J. Hornberger, of Toronto; Mina (Mrs. Fred Fischer), of Elora; Bertha of Kalamazoo, Mich.; Frank, of Peel township; Annie (Mrs. Medard Martin) near Elmira. Deceased died of pneumonia after only about a week's illness. Previous to that she had enjoyed remarkably good health and was in possession of all her facilities. The funeral took place on Tuesday to St. Theresa Church and thence to the R.C. Cemetery for burial. Her memory will be held in honor by all who knew her intimately. Elmira Signet Feb 8 1917
