      Charles Steffler, 72, died last night at his home, 165 King St. North, Waterloo, after a short illness. He was employed by the city. Mr. Steffler was born in Erbsville. He was a member of St. Louis RC Church, Waterloo. Surviving are his wife, one son, Alvin, at home, two daughters, Mrs. Alice Lemanski, Waterloo and Miss Lola at home; two brothers, John, New Dundee, and Alman, Maryhill, and one sister, Mrs. Peter Dorscht, Bamberg. The body is at the Walsh Funeral Home, Waterloo, from where the funeral will be held Saturday at 8:45 a.m. to St. Louis Church for requiem mass at 9 a.m. Burial will be in Waterloo Mount Hope Cemetery
