- Frederick Dahmer - A Waterloo resident for most of his life, Frederick Dahmer, 79, 223 Mary St., died Monday at K-W Hospital after an illness of one month.
Mr. Dahmer was born in Conestogo, Oct. 13, 1879, a son of Henry Dahmer and the former Elizabeth Hess. He retired a year ago after working for the City of Waterloo for 20 years. He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Waterloo.
Surviving are his wife, the former Catherine Foerster; four sons, Edward and Harold Koenig of Kitchener, Gordon and Roy Koenig of Waterloo; one daughter, Mrs. Christopher (Nelda) Schmidt of Waterloo; four brothers, William of Waterloo, Charles, David, Walter, all of Kitchener; five sisters, Mrs. Oscar (Maude) Yaeck, Mrs. Winnifred Klaehn, Mrs. Annie Wolfe, Mrs. Amelia Grischow of Kitchener, Mrs. Tillie Moore of New Hamburg; 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
The body is at Edward R. Good Funeral Home, Waterloo until Thursday at 1 pm when removal will be made to St. John's Church where funeral will be conducted at 2:30 pm by Rev. A. L. Conrad. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.
