- Funeral Held Saturday
On Saturday the funeral of Mrs. Emma Nevetzeral Hollatz wife of Mr. August Hollatz Jr., was held. She died at the K. & W. Hospital on Thursday, and was laid to rest in St. Peter's Lutheran cemetery. Rev. Dr. Sperling conducted the service in both English and German, many friends being present. From out of the city being her mother. Mrs. Alex Watt of Rodney, a sister Mrs. J. C. Schmitt, Cleveland, Ohio, a brother Harvey from Cleveland brother Lloyd from Buffalo, brother August from Bridgeburg, a sister Mrs. Gilmore, Woodstock, a brother Mr. Woolner, Milverton. The floral contribution showed the high esteem in which the deceased was held, which consisted of an anchor from the husband; cross from mother and father; pillow Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Kissner; wreath, Lloyd and Angus; wreath Ina and Harvey; heart, the boys, wreath, Battler and Freiburger; basket, Mrs. Woolner; spray, Mr. and Mrs. Emil Starr; spray, Mr. and Mrs. H. Krueger; spray, Mr. and Mrs. L. Krueger; Spray, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Scott, Mrs. Sacks and Irene; spray, Local Union No. 527; spray, Mr. and Mrs. Schallhorn; spray, Mr. and Mrs. Schliefhauf, Rodney; spray New Glasgow girl friends; spray, Mr. and Mrs. Waster Frickey; spray Mrs. Bender and Isabel; spray Mr. and Mrs. Dargel, spray, Mr. and Mrs. Irvin Beam, spray, Mr. and Mrs. August Hollatz, Sr.; spray, Mr. and Mrs. Compass; spray, Dorcas Society St. Peter's Lutheran church. The pallbearer were R. Hollatz, H. Krueger F. Gralke, H. Arndt C. Compass, and C. Uebele.
