  • Notes
    • A very sad affair took place in connection with the family of Mr. Moses Gingrich. His eldest son Urias went west to High River, Alberta, about five weeks ago. A short time after his arrival there, he contracted typhoid fever from which he died, on April 17th. His remains arrived at Elmira on Monday and the funeral was held from his father's home in Peel on April 24th to the Floradale Mennonite cemetery. A very large crowd of friends attending showed the esteem in which he was held by the community.
