- Jacob Dietz, 76, of 13 McDougall Ave., Waterloo, died Thursday at his home after a brief illness.
He was born at Rummelhardt, a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Henry Dietz. Mr. Dietz farmed near St. Agatha for several years and moved to Waterloo when he retired 10 years ago. He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, St. Agatha.
Surviving are his wife, the former Cornelia Koehler, and one brother John, of RR 3, Waterloo. He was predeceased by one brother and two sisters.
The body will be at the Edward R. Good Funeral Home, until noon Saturday when removal will be made to Zion Lutheran Church, St. Agatha, for service at 3 p.m. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery. Rev. Ernest Felker will officiate.
