  Mrs. Emil M. Bastian Mrs. Emil M. Bastian, 51, of 216 Victoria St. South, died last night at her residence. She had been ill for some time. The former Ida Schekenee, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Schekenee, she was born in Waterloo Township, in 1897. She was a member of St. John's R.C. Church and of the Confraternity of the Holy Family. Surviving are her husband; one daughter, Miss Blanche Bastian, at home; two brothers, Leo of St. Catharines and Clement of Kitchener; one sister, Mrs. Fred (Clara) Bush of Kitchener. Funeral services will be held Friday, with prayers at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, at 10: 30 a.m., followed by absolution in St. John's Church at 11 o'clock. Rev. William Gleason will officiate.
