    • Gregor Schnarr

      Following a brief illness, the death occurred Sunday afternoon, of Gregor Schnarr, 92, at his home, 57 Victoria St., Waterloo. Born Feb. 10, 1855, in Kitchener, Mr. Schnarr spent most of his life in the contracting business in Waterloo County. He retired about 25 years ago. The deceased attended St. Louis R.C. Church and was a member of the Holy Name Society. Predeceased by his wife in January, 1933, he is survived by one son, Joseph, of Polworth, Sask. and one daughter, Mrs. Charles (Mary) Roth of Waterloo and by 12 grand-children and six great-grandchildren. One son, John and two daughters, Barbara and Mrs. Edward (Magdalena) Stumpf, predeceased him. The remains are resting at the Walsh Funeral Home, Waterloo, until 8: 45 a.m., Wednesday, when they will be taken to St. Louis Church for requiem high mass, at 9 a.m. Interment will be in Waterloo Mt. Hope R.C. Cemetery.
