  Maurer, Charles J. "Chuck" - Suddenly, on Saturday, Aug. 7, 1999, at K-W Health Centre of Grand River Hospital, age 75 years, of Waterloo. Chuck was a lifelong member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church, a member of the RCAF Wing No. 404 and the Waterloo Legion Branch No. 530. Loving husband of Elizabeth (nee Eberhardt). Dear father of Michael and his wife Lucie of New Brunswick and Timothy and his wife Susan of Kitchener. Proud grandfather of Jesse and Phillip of New Brunswick. He is survived by a sister-in-law, June Maurer; a step-brother, Paul Heinbuch and his wife Carolyn and a step-sister-in-law, Bette Heinbuch. He will be especially missed by a dear cousin, Pat Parker and her husband Keith of Belwood. Predeceased by his parents, Carl and Augusta Maurer and by his brother James. Cremation has taken place. The family will receive friends for a memorial visitation on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Edward R. Good Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Aug. 14, 1999 at 2 p.m. in St. Mark's Lutheran Church, Kitchener with Rev. Nancy Kelly officiating. Donations may be made to St. Mark's Lutheran Church, Anniversary Fund or Community Ministry Fund. The Record Newspaper , August, 1999
