  A-1-103 Valentine Schurter Probate of the Will of Valentine Schurter, late of the Township of Wilmot. Petition of John Hergott and Anthony Hergott, the younger, the Executors named in said Will. This Instrument witnesseth that I Valentine Schurter, Lockmaker of the Township of Wilmot, being weak of body…First, I command my soul…I give and bequeath to my beloved wife Francisca, a born Woolsack, all and every, my real and moveable property, hereby appointing and constituting her my said wife as my sole Heir and proprietrix of my whole property. During the time of her natural life, but it is understood the children are to [be] clothed and schooled out of the estate and after departure of this life all the said property shall to my beloved children, sons and daughters, to share alike. Be it further understood that it is my will that in case my wife should contract another marriage she then immediately shall lose and be destituted of all her rights and title of my, the aforesaid property as well as real and moveable…and in such case all my property shall only belong and fall to my beloved children…it is also my will that my son Joseph Schurter would like to set up his trade at Blacksmithing at my shop that my wife shall give him room in the house and a piece in the garden and the shop at a moderate rent such as he, the said Joseph and the Executors may agree upon. I do hereby nominate, constitute and appoint my trusty friends John Herrgott [sic] and Anthony Herrgott Jr., both of the Township of Wilmot, Yeoman, to be my Executors… Witnessed by John C.
