  Fred Higgins - Peacefully, at his home on Doon Village Road, Kitchener, Milford Fred Higgins passed away on Monday, October 25, 1993, in his 79th year. Born in Stratford, Ontario, he was son of the late Milford Irvin Higgins and Irene Thornebranston. Mr. Higgins was the owner/operator of Higgins Brothers Electric in Cambridge for 40 years and was a lifetime member of the K-40 Club in Cambridge. He is survived by his wife, Helen Little; his children, Fr. T. L. Higgins of Scotland, Ontario and Judy and her husband, Randy Martin of Cambridge; grandchildren, Holly, Laura, Wade and Whitney; by brothers, Thomas, Edward, John and William and by his sister, Joyce Taivainen. In addition to his parents, Mr. Higgins is predeceased by sisters, Norah and Mary and brother, Bobby. Funeral service was held at the Ayr Chapel, Wm. Kipp Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 27, 1993 at 11: 00 a.m. Father T. L. Higgins officiated. Interment was in Ayr Cemetery. The Ayr News Oct 27 1993 pg 16
