Arthur Jacob Mihm, 71, of 2967 King St. East, died at the K-W Hospital Sunday after a two-week illness.
Born at Centreville, a son of the late John Mihm and Catherine Brown, he was a employee of the Liquor Control Board of Ontario for 24 years. Mr. Mihm was a Roman Catholic and attended St. Jerome's College chapel and was a member of the Holy Name Society and the Kitchener branch of the Canadian Legion.
He is survived by his wife, Ida Kesselring, whom he married 33 years in Kitchener; a son, John, also of Kitchener; five brothers, Maurice of New Hamburg, Nelson and Charles of Kitchener, John of Detroit and James of Akron, Ohio.
Also three sisters, Mrs. Martha Litfin of Hamilton, Mrs. Irene Keating and Mrs. William (Genevieve) Wheeler, both of Kitchener. He was predeceased by three brothers and a sister. The body is at the Gruhn Funeral Home where the rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Tuesday and prayers will be said at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, followed by requiem high mass at St. Jerome's Chapel at 11 a.m. Burial will be at Woodland Cemetery.
