  ETHEL BAUMAN 1919 - 2009 Passed away peacefully at St. Mary's Hospital, Kitchener, on Saturday, June 13, 2009. Cherished mother of Sandra and her husband Bob Johnstone. Beloved grandmother of Cheryl and Jaime, and son Tyson, Curtis and Seanna, Carolyn and Mohammed and daughters Jasmine and Julia, Craig, and Christopher and son Cain. Dear foster mother of Donnie Buschert. Ethel will be sadly missed by her sister, Reta Knechtel; and sisters-in-law, Lena, Ina, Elsie and Ruth Schmitt. Predeceased by her husband, Alson; and by siblings, Wilfred Schmitt, Edward Schmitt, Edna Scheidel, Delton Schmitt, Harold Schmitt, Lorne Schmitt, Edith Bachert, and Vinetta Feick. Friends are invited to share their memories of Ethel with her family during visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home , 171 King Street South, Waterloo, on Tuesday, June 16, 2009 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., continuing at First Mennonite Church, 800 King St. E., Kitchener on Wednesday, June 17, 2009 from 1 p.m., until the time of the Funeral Service at 2 p.m. Reception at the church, followed by interment at Mannheim Mennonite Cemetery. Condolences for the family and donations to the Canadian Bible Society or Women's Christian Temperance Union may be arranged through the funeral home at www.erbgood.com or 519.745.8445.
