  Mrs. Amelia Hofstetter Mrs. Amelia Hofstetter, 74, of 392 Breithaupt St., died Friday at K-W Hospital. Mrs. Hofstetter was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Herman Affeldt and was born in Kitchener Jan. 23, 1887. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Senior Citizens and Golden cross Group. Surviving are a son Harold; a daughter, Mrs. Oscar (Irene) Elligson, both of Kitchener, five brothers, Joseph, John and Abraham, all of Kitchener, Albert of Preston and Harry of Rosendale; three sisters, Mrs. Albert (Mary) Weltz and Mrs. Lilian Preston, all of Kitchener. There are five grandchildren. Her husband, Oscar Hoffstetter, predeceased her in 1957. The body is at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home until noon Monday when removal will be made to St. Paul's Lutheran Chruch. The funeral service will be conducted there Monday at 3 pm by the Rev. Arthur Eissfeldt and burial will be at St. Peter's Lutheran Cemetery. Kitchener-Waterloo Record 28 Jan 1961 pg 5
