- Henry M. Brubacher, "was born July 4th, 1861. He is the owner of part of the old 'John Brubacher Farm' (The brick house on this farm was erected in 1839 and the old part of the barn in 1822) about a mile east of Berlin. Here his father resided for more than sixty-nine years, and now young Henry has been the owner of it for some time. He is not married."

"BRUBACHER - Henry M. Brubacher was born July 4, 1860; died at his home at Kitchener, Ont. March 27, 1921, aged 60yrs, 8mos, 23 days. He was married to (...lena) Stauffer. Bro. and Sister Brubacher had spent the winter months in Florida returning home recently in apparent good health, but his life was very suddenly cut short by heart failure. Funeral at the First Mennonite Church."

Henry Brubacher Dies Suddenly Sunday Evening
The sudden and unexpected death of Mr. Henry Brubacher occurred at his home on Frederick street at 11.45 o'clock last night. The cause of death was heart failure. The deceased attended a funeral near Bloomingdale during the afternoon, and had visited at the home of friends during the early part of the evening. Before retiring he complained of suffering a pain in the side, and after he had slept for a short time he informed Mrs. Brubacher that he was extremely weak, and shortly after he collapsed and expired.
The late Mr. Brubacher was in his 61st year and was born on the old Brubacher farm near the House of Refuge, his father being the late Henry Brubacher. He was married to Miss Lena Stauffer, who survives. The funeral will take place on Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the residence to the East End Mennonite church and cemetery.
