    • Clifford Faus

      Life long area resident, Clifford James Fans, died at the Brantford General Hospital on Tuesday, March 10th, 1992. Mr. Fans was in his 96th year. Born in Ayr, he was the son of Joseph Fans and Mary Robson. Since 1910 he resided and farmed at RR 3, Ayr, until his retirement in 1985. Mr. Faus and his wife, Alice Wright, then moved to Telfer Place, Paris. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sons, Arthur and his wife Martha of RR 3, Ayr and Kent and his wife Norma of Pickering; by nine grand-children and nine great-grandchildren; and by his niece, Jane Quigley of Orillia. He was predeceased by one sister, Kathleen Watson of Orillia. Visitation was held at the Wm. Kipp Funeral Home on Thursday then to Grace Gospel Church, Paris where funeral service was held on Friday, March 13 at 3: 30 p.m. Reverend Wayne Foster officiated. Interment was in Paris Plains Cemetery. Pallbearers were Brian, Peter and Paul Faus, Rick Cleaveland, Gerald and Bill Wright.
