  Thy Will Be Done Died In Ayr, on Sunday, February 17th, 1918, at 5 o'clock a.m. Eliza McAllister Relict of the late Arthur Hogge Aged 75 years. The Funeral Will take place from her late residence, Stanley St., on Tuesday, Feb. 19th. at 2.30 p.m., to Ayr Cemetery, Friends and acquaintances will please accept this intimation. Funeral Card ________________________ Another Old Resident Gone One by one the old residents are passing to "that bourne from whence no traveler e'er returns." Early Sunday morning Mrs. Arthur Hogge exchanged mortality for immortality, quietly passing into the great unknown and unfathomable. She had been ill only about a week, but had attained the ripe age of 75 years, the inevitable following quickly when the break-up came. The deceased, whose maiden name was Eliza McAllister, was born in the township of Waterloo and resided in this county all her life, witnessing the wonderful transformation that took place in three-quarters of a century in this highly cultivated and fruitful sectin. She married the late Arthur Hogge about 40 years ago and moved to the Ayr district some time later, her husband dying in 1909. Mrs. Hogge was a member of the Presbyterian Church and until recently was a regular attendant at Divine service. Otherwise the home life was her ideal. She is survived by two sons and a daughter, viz., William in Winnipeg, Thomas in Ayr and Margaret in Toronto. The funeral on Tuesday to the Ayr cemetery was well attended, the services being taken by Revs. J. J. Brown and Dr. Thompson. The pallbearers were Messrs. Robert Morton, Alex.
