  FREY, Laverne 1940 - 2012 aka "Big Daddy" Passed away peacefully at Campbell River Hospital, B.C., Sunday, March 4, 2012 at the age of 71 years. Laverne is survived by a son, Shawn Grey (Colleen) of Waterloo, Ontario, a daughter, Pamela Martin (Leon) of Elmira, Ontario. Grandchildren Candice Beacom-Frey, Zackery Frey, Brooke Frey, Kylee Martin, sisters Shirley (Hendrik) Duivenbode of Innerkip and Karen Boutillier of Nanaimo, B.C. Laverne was predeceased by his parents Urias and Helen Frey, brother Gerald Frey, grandson Anthony Beacom-Frey. The family would like to invite friends and extended family to come share their memories of Laverne at the Drayton Royal Canadian Legion on March 31, 2012 from 1-5 p.m., Elm Street, Drayton, Ontario.
