Notes |
- Demise of Janet D. Fulton - Died, in Ayr, on Saturday, Jan. 31st, 1920, at 4: 30 o'clock pm, Janet Donaldson Fulton. Miss Fulton, who had been ill for some time from hardening of the arteries, passed away just eleven days after the death of her sister, Margaret. They had lived together practically all their lives and in death were not long divided. Janet D., like her sister, was a woman of culture and broad views. Though more of a home body than her sister, her influence was ever on the side of the right, thus endearing her to a wide circle of staunch friends and admirers. A member of the Presbyterian Church, she attended all means of grace when health and opportunity permitted. The Misses Fulton moved in from the farm a few years ago but did not live long to enjoy their beautiful home on McDonald street. The funeral took place on Tuesday. The pallbearers were Messrs. John J. Hodgson, Henry Elliott, Alex Gray, W. Snyder, J.W. Hunt and A.J. Reid.
