  SHANTZ, Ronald Bruce - Passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 18, 2009 at Winston Park Nursing Home surrounded by his loving family at the age of 64. Beloved husband of Linda Shantz. Loving father of Kelly. Predeceased by his parents, Bruce and Marjorie Shantz. Dear brother of Luanne DeJesus (Johnny), Ginny Moor and June Taylor (Ian). Son-in-law of Henry and Roma Rastel. Brother-in-law of Don Rastel (Michelle) and Wendy Sutherland (Jay). Dear uncle of Raul, Miranda, Jason, Shannon, Jenn, Sarah, Kathryn and great-uncle of Angelo and Tyson. Fondly remembered by his many friends. Ronald's family will receive relatives and friends from 7-9 p.m. on Friday, January 23, 2009 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home , 507 Frederick St., Kitchener, 519-749-8467 and again on Saturday, January 24, 2009 from 11 a.m. until time of funeral service in the Chapel at 12: 30 p.m. Reception to follow.
