  Robert C. Barrie Passes - A native of the Ayr district Robert Cecil Barrie passed away July 29th at Marsdale Manor, Cambridge on. July 29th. He was 82. Born in Ayr, he farmed on Greenfield Road, RR 1, Ayr, until his retirement. Mr. Barrie was predeceased by his wife, the former Ruth Mercy Trentham on February 17, 1952. Funeral service was held July 31st at Coutts and Son Funeral Home, Galt. Interment in Ayr Cemetery. The Ayr News Aug 12 1981 pg 10
