- In Loving Memory Died In Galt Hospital, on Thursday, October 30, 1919, at 7.30 o'clock, a.m. James Dryden in his 36th year. The Funeral Will take place from the residence of his brother, Alvin Dryden, 9th Concession, N.Dumfries, on Saturday afternoon, Nov. 1st, at 2 o'clock, to the Ayr Cemetery Friends and acquaintances will please accept this intimation.

Death of James Dryden
The death occurred at the Galt Hospital on Thursday last of James Dryden of the 9th Con. of North Dumfries. The deceased, who was 36 years of age, was born where he died and had lived there practically all his life. He was a Presbyterian and a member of Knox church, Galt. He is survived by a daughter, Isabel, his wife (nee Miss Fraser, Glenmorris) having predeceased him. The funeral took place form the residence of his brother Alvin, 9th Con., on Saturday afternoon, by motor, to Ayr cemetery.
