  Former Ayr Boy Dies in Sarnia Died, in Sarnia, on Tuesday, Sept. 6, at 5 30 o'clock a.m., Roy Wardlaw Powell, in his 27th year. The deceased, who had been ill with appendicitis and complications, was born in North Dumfries, and spent his boyhood in Ayr where he was familiarly known among his companions as "Baden" Powell, Since leaving school he had followed railroading and while located at Port Rowan a couple of years ago married Miss Brown of that place, who survives. Two brothers, James of London and Chester of Hamilton, and a sister at Tacoma, also survive. The funeral, which will be private, takes place today from the residence of his grandmother, Mrs. Alex. Fraser, Stanley streel, at 2: 30 p.m., when interment will he made in the Ayr cemetery. The Ayr News Sep 8 1921 pg 8
