  Passing of James M. Scott The tragic death occurred about 7.15 o'clock Monday morning of James M. Scott, North Dumfries farmer, aged 65 years. Mr. Scott had been in poor health for a number of years. He was born on the family homestead, a short distance northeast of Ayr, being a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Alexander Scott. Past Master of Ayr Masonic Lodge Mr. Scott resided in this district for the whole of his lifetime and was known to a wide circle of friends. He was a member and past master of Ayr Masonic Lodge and a member of Knox United Church. Those Surviving Surviving are his wife, the former Catherine Mathison, and two daughters, Mrs. C. Cox (Edith) of Wanstead, near Sarnia, and Mrs. Alvin Waterman (Louise) of Greenfield. A son, Harold, died six years ago. There are also the following brothers and sisters: Albert Scott and Mrs. Mina Rowatt, North Dumfries; Walter A. Scott of Glanford Station; Mrs. Bertha Gray, Hamilton, and Mrs. Evelyn Papple, St. Catharines. There are also six grandchildren. The Funeral The funeral will take place from the W. 0.
