  Margaret Mitchell Miss Margaret Irene Mitchell of Stanley Street, Ayr, passed away at Cambridge Memorial Hospital on Friday, July 29th. She was in her 89th year. Born in North Dumfries, she was the youngest child of the late George and Christina Mitchell. She was a lifelong resident of Ayr and district and for several years worked as a clerk in the former Zehr's store here, and later the Krantz store. Predeceased by four sisters, Mayme Brown, Belle Gourlay, Hilda Page and Edna Cochrane and two brothers, Hardy and David. Surviving are eight nieces and nephews. Rested at the Wm. Kipp Funeral Home, Paris, where funeral service was held Monday morning. Rev. Pieter Van Harten of Paris Presbyterian Church officiated. Interment in Ayr Cemetery.
