  Schwartzentruber, Edwin, son of Christian and Annie (Albrecht) Schwartzentruber, was born in Wilmot Twp., Ont., Sept.4, 1898; died at People Care Nursing Home, Tavistock, Ont., Oct. 20, 1982; aged 84 y. In 1923 he was married to Catherine Leis, who survives. Also surviving are 2 daughters (Dorothy-Mrs. Stanley Sauder and Mabel-Mrs. Lorne Snyder), one son (Harold), 8 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren. He was a member of Nith Valley Mennonite Church, where funeral services were held on Oct. 23, in charge of Annie Brubacher; interment in Nith Valley cemetery Gospel Herald Volume 76, Number 7 - February 15, 1983-page 118 ______________________ SCHWARZENTRUBER Edwin -- On Wednesday, Oct 20, 1982, at People Care Centre, Tavistock, Edwin Schwartzentruber, aged 84 years, formerly of New Hamburg. He was a member of Nith Valley Mennonite Church RR1, New Hamburg. Son of the late Christian Schwartzentruber and the former Annie Albrecht; loving husband of the former Katie Leis of Kitchener; dear father of Harold of New Hamburg, Dorothy (Mrs. Stan Sauder) of Kitchener and Mabel (Mrs. Lorne Snyder) of RR1, Millbank. Also surviving are eight grandchildren seven great-grandchildren and one sister Sylvia (Mrs. Earlus Gascho) of Kitchener. Predeceased by a brother, Abner and a sister Ida. Resting at the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home, 291 Huron St., New Hamburg Chapel after 7 p.m. this evening, and until noon Saturday, when transfer will be made to Nith Valley Mennonite Church for the service at 3 p.m., with Rev Amzie Brubacher officiating.
