  Mercy was nurse a personal favourite of Florence Wilks of Langdon Hall of Blair, Ontario ________________ MISS MERCY KING A former night supervisor of Galt General Hospital, Miss Mercy King R.N., died this morning at Coutts Pavilion, Freeport, in her 79th year. Miss King was born at Cranston, Oneida Township in Haldimand County and moved to Cedarvale Farm RR 2, Galt, in 1892. The late Miss King was highly respected and well liked in the community. She graduated from Galt Hospital. Surviving are her sisters, Mrs. Norman Morton (Harriett) Ayr; Mrs. Thomas Mathieson (Elizabeth), Galt; Mrs. W. C. Barrie, (Agnes), Galt; Mrs. Sherman Smith (Louise), Middleport; Misses Jane, Annie and Mary, at home and Miss Nellie M. King, Lindsay. A brother William predeceased in 1950 and a sister Margaret, in 1954. Friends will be received at Little's Funeral Home, 39 Grand Avenue North, from Sunday afternoon. Funeral service will take place Tuesday, November 26, at 2 p.m. Interment in Mount View Cemetery. Galt Reporter 1963
