Notes - CASSEL, Bernice May - Went to be with her Lord on Wednesday, September 17, 2008, at Fairview Nursing Home, Cambridge in her 100th year. Bernice Henderson, beloved wife of the late Harvey Cassel (1971). Dear mother of Paul (Margaret) Cassel of Kitchener and Blanche Cassel of Cambridge. Survived by one sister, Ruth Henderson. Predeceased by her parents, Walter and Emma Henderson; one brother, Melvin and four sisters, Myrtle, Helen, Blanche, and Freda. Mrs. Cassel was born in Toronto and had been a resident of Cambridge since 1942. She was a member of Rosebank Brethren In Christ Church. The family will receive friends at Fairview Mennonite Home Auditorium on Saturday, September 20, 2008 from 12 noon until service time at 1 p.m. Interment in Rosebank Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to Fairview Mennonite Home would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements entrusted to the Barthel Funeral Home , Cambridge (519) 653-3251.
