  Mrs. Thomas Hall - The death occurred at her residence, Hall Street, on Thursday afternoon of Mrs. Thomas Hall, in her 62nd year. Deceased had been ill for about 3 weeks, but her condition was not considered serious until a few days before her demise. Mrs. Hall, whose, maiden name was Agnes Deans, was born on the Deans homestead, 11th concession, North Dumfries, now occupied by her brother, James. She was married about 34 years ago and resided with her husband during most of that period on their farm at Nithvale, coming to Ayr about 3 years ago. She was a member of Knox United Church and always took a deep interest in the work of the church and also in the activities of the various women's organizations. She was a lady of many excellent qualities, and the respect and esteem of a large circle of friends, all of whom were deeply shocked on learning of her demise. Besides her husband and one daughter, Marjorie, she is survived by the following two brothers and four sisters, all of whom live in the surrounding district: Kirk, James, Miss Edith, Mrs. J. Henderson, Mrs. A. Hall and Mrs. Cameron Marshall. The funeral took place on Saturday afternoon to Ayr Cemetery and was largely attended. The services were conducted by Rev, J. W. Currie and the pallbearers were as follows: Messrs. W. I. Reid, W. A. Ramsay, Deans Cochrane, Erle Sharp, Arthur Easton and Albert Gillespie.
