- DR. EDGAR S. BROWN died as a result of a heart condition on December 22. 1949. at the Galt General Hospital. Born in Alameda, Saskatchewan, on December 4, 1898, Dr. Brown was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. James Brown. From Saskatchewan Dr. Brown's family moved to Napinka, Manitoba. On October 1. 1919, Dr. Brown entered the Ontario Veterinary College. and gratuated from that institution in 1923. He then took up practice in the village of New Dundee, Ontario. In 1928 Dr. Brown married Rachel Bock. There is one son, James, and one daughter, Sheila, aged twenty-one and thirteen years respectively. The Reverend W. G. Goodger, United Church, Ayr, conducted the funeral service, held on December 26. Interment was in the cemetery at New Dundee. To Dr. Brown's widow, his son and his daughter. we extend our sincere sympathy.
