    • Miss Hannah R. Brown Passes - Relatives and friends gathered at the W. O. Ball Funeral Home in Ayr to pay their last respects to the late Miss Hannah Rachel Brown on Monday at 2: 30 p.m. Miss Brown passed away Thursday in St. Mary's Hospital, Kitchener. She was in her 83rd year. Miss Brown was a lifelong resident of Ayr and district, having lived on Stanley Street for the past few years. She was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. James Brown of North Dumfries Township. She was a member of Knox United Church, Ayr. She leaves to mourn her passing, one sister, Mrs. E. (Margaret) Shouldice, Galt and 15 nephews and nieces. The beautiful floral tributes testified to the esteem in which she was held. Rev. D. E. Willis of Knox United Church, Ayr, officiated. Pallbearers were six nephews; R. F. Brown, RR 2, Paris; Harvey Brown, Washington; Jack Brown, Ayr; R. G. Brown, RR 4, Galt; George Shouldice, Galt; and George Eddington, Blair. Interment took place in Ayr Cemetery.
