    • HARRY A. ARNDT A veteran of the Second World War, Harry A. Arndt, 27, of 8 Factory St., Elmira, died Monday night at Westminster Hospital, London. Born in Kitchener, May 29, 1924, he was a son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Arndt, R.R. 2, Alma. He served four years overseas with the first division of the Canadian Army. Surviving is his widow, the former Kathleen Blackwell, and two daughters, Carol and Dianne, at home. There are eight sisters, Mrs. Melvin (Lillian) Melitzer, R.R. 4, Elmira; Mrs. Oliver (Helen) Randall, R.R. 2 Elora; Mrs. Leo (Lorraine) Steffler, Waterloo; Jean, Eva, Margaret, Grace and Joy, all of R.R. 2, Alma. The funeral service will be held Friday at 3 p.m. at the Dreisinger Funeral Chapel with Rev. C.C.W. Mixer officiating. Burial will be in Elmira Cemetery. The body was at the Dreisinger Funeral Parlor after 9 a.m. Wednesday.
