    • TWIN SISTERS MARRY [sic] BROTHERS

Interesting and unique event took place yesterday at Branchton A very interesting double wedding took place at the home of Mr. and Mrs. John Blain of Branchton, on Tuesday afternoon, when their twin daughters, Misses Isabel and Bessie were united in marriage to the brothers, Peter and Andrew Kidd, both of Galt. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. K.J. Macdonald in the presence of a few of their immediate relatives. Miss Isabel's bridesmaid was Miss Mamie Robertson, and Miss Jessie Blain acted in a similar capacity for Miss Bessie. The grooms were supported by Messrs. Alex. Simpson and Gilmour Kidd. The numerous gifts testified to the high esteem in which the young people are held. After the wedding banquet the happy couples left for a trip through the Thousand Island and on their return will reside on Todd Street, Galt.
