    • Foster H. Stauffer, "was born February 26th, 1856. He was married to Mary Wagner. They resided in Buffalo, New York, where he died December 27th, 1889, leaving a family of two children, namely: Maimie and Chester. Mr. Stauffer followed teaching for several years in the county of Waterloo and upon quitting it he went to Buffalo where he received the appointment as provision agent at which he was engaged at the time of his death."
