  New Dundee: by Miss Miriam Hilborn (Chronicle Correspondent) Life-long Residen! Passes. George Norman Weber, a lifelong resident of this village passed away suddenly at his home on Tuesday morning aged 80 years. He was born in New Dundee on March 18, 1872. On June 7. 1899 he was married to Frieda Graf in Heidelberg who predeceased him 10 years ago. A carriage maker by trade, he had been a member of the former well- known firm of Weber Brothers Carriage Works. He was a member of St. James Lutheran Church and of the Canadian Order of Foresters. Surviving are: one daughter. Mrs Stanley (Edith) Wurm of Detroit, Mich.; three sons. Elwood of Windsor, Garfield of New Dundee and Clifford of Kitchener: nine grandchildren; one brother. Simon Weber of New Dundee: and two sisters, Mrs. Caroline Schroeder of Buffalo, N.Y., and Mrs. Laura Hammond of Waterloo. The funeral will be held with a private service at the family residence at 2.30 p.m. on Fiday, followed by a public service at St. James Lutheran Church at 3 p.m. Rev. D. J. Glebe, minister af the church will officiate. Interment will be made in the New Dundee Union Cemetery. The body is. resting at the Poth Funeral Home.
