- Arthur Lautenschlager Arthur Lautenschlager 69, of 16 Strange St. died yesterday at K-W Hospital after a brief illness. Born Sept. 22, 1681, at New Dundee, he was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. August Lautenschlakss. Mr. Lautenschlager was an employee of the William Knell and Co., Ltd. He attended Benton St. Baptist Church. He married the former Clara Diebel Sept. 21, 1910, at Philipsburg.
In addition to his wife, he leaves one son, Omar Lautenschlager, Kitchener; five daughters, Mrs. Edward (Julia) Kimpel, Kitchener; Miss Emma Lautenschlager, New Dundee; Mrs. Clayton (Eileen) Schaefer, Kitchener; Mrs. Albert (Mildred) Becker, New Dundee, and Mrs. Lorne (Greta) Schaefer, Waterloo.
Also surviving are one brother, Edward, and two sisters, Miss Lilly Lautenschlager and Mrs. Lorne Zinkan, all of New Dundee. A brother, Irvin, and a sister, Mrs. Elmina Buck, predeceased Mr. Lautenschlager. Ten grandchildren also survive.
The body is resting at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home until noon Tuesday when it will be taken to Benton St. Baptist Church for the funeral at 2 p.m. conducted by Rev. Leander Roblin, assisted by Rev. H. F. Schade, New Dundee.
Interment will be in Union Cemetery, New Dundee.
