- Mrs. Ellen Stager - Mrs. Ellen Stager, 79, of 8 Onward Ave., who had lived in Kitchener for the past eight years, died today at the K-W Hospital. In 1896 she married the late Allen Stager, who died in 1933. She spent most of her life in Wilmot Township.
Surviving are two sons, Vinton and Arden, both of Kitchener; three daughters, Mrs. Clarice Cressman, Mrs. Norman Duench and Miss Inez Stager, all of Kitchener; one brother, Hymen Brighton, Toronto; one sister Mrs. Adelia Bechtel, New Dundee; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
The body is at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home where the funeral will be held Tuesday at 1: 30 pm followed by a service at the Blenheim Mennonite Church at 2: 30. Interment will be in the adjoining cemetery.
