  Mrs. Curtis Cressman By Record Staff Writer New Hamburg - Mrs. Curtis Cressman, wife of Mennonite Bishop Cressman of RR I, New Hamburg, died Thursday in St. Mary's Hospital following a brief illness. She was 72. The former Clarice Stager was born March 25, 1897, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Allan Stager. She lived in this district most of her life. Surviving besides her husband, are three sons, Lester in Ohio, Irvin of Kitchener and Howard of RR 1, New Hamburg; three daughters, Mrs. Gordon (Lillian) Bean of RR 1, New Dundee, Mrs. Michael (Vera) Miller of Kitchener and Elsie Cressman of Tanzania in Africa; one brother, Arden of Kitchener; two sisters, Mrs. Norman (Verne) Duench and Inez Stager of Kitchener; 24 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Mrs. Cressman was predeceased by her first husband, Amos Cressman, one stepdaughter and one brother. The body will be at the Bruce J. Omand Funeral Home noon, Saturday, until noon, Monday, when removal will be made to the Conservative Mennonite Church for services at 3 p.m. with Rev Elmer Grove officiating. Burial will be in Biehn Mennonite cemetery in Wilmot Township.
