    • William H. Oberer, 79, of RR 2, Kitchener, died Saturday at K-W Hospital after a brief illness. He had lived in Strasburg for the past three years, and previously had been a Kitchener resident for 20 years. He worked at the Hydro City Shoe Company for 20 years.

      Mr. Oberer was born Jan. 9, 1873, in Zurich, a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Henry Oberer. He was a member of Alma Street United Brethren Church. Surviving are his wife, the former Margaret Simpson whom he married here in 1917; two sons, Harlon and Russell, both of Strasburg; a brother, Edgar Oberer of Kitchener; three step-brothers, William Sahli of Kitchener, Edwin Sahli of Waterloo, and Alex Sahli of British Columbia; three sisters, Mrs. Andrew Bell of Plattsville, Mrs. Franklin MacDonald of Plattsville, and Mrs. Simon Heer of Kitchener; and four grandchildren.
