• Notes

  The death of Ephriam Stager, 72, of RR 1, occurred today at the K-W Hospital. He had been ill five weeks. A native of Wilmot Township, Mr. Stager farmed in the Ayr district for the past 43 years. He was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Stager. Surviving, besides his wife, the former Naomi Schlichter, are four sons, Harold, Orangeville, Fred, Ayr, Robert, Plainfield, Vt., William, Montreal; two sisters, Mrs. Norman (Cora) Mawson, London, Ont.; Mrs. Donald (Muriel) Robson, Ayr; one sister, Mrs. Annie Bierman, Waterloo, and nine grandchildren. A son and a daughter died in infancy. The body is at the Ratz-Bechtel funeral home until 11 a.m., Saturday, when removal will be made to the Roseville United Brethren Church, where the funeral will be held at 2.30 p.m. Rev. Keith Nicholson of New Dundee will officiate. Interment will be in Blenheim Cemetery. The Kitchener-Waterloo Record 11 Feb 1953
